Salary: Grade: F Scalepoints: (8-13)

Actual salary  £15,693.45 pa - £17,004.25 pa

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours of work: 26 hours pw week, 39 weeks a year (TTO + training days)

Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025

Keeble Gateway Academy School is a happy and nurturing school, where children are able to thrive and achieve their potential through feeling safe, and valued as individuals. We are looking to appoint a class teacher to join our committed staffing team.

The post is to work with the Class Teacher by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under agreed supervision throughout the school for 4 days a week. The successful candidate will advance pupils’ learning throughout the school, covering PPA time. Activities involve planning, preparing and delivering learning lessons as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class/subject teacher.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide a high-quality learning experience as well as the enthusiasm and energy to engage and motivate all pupils whilst embodying our school values of love, kindness, self-belief and aspiration.

The successful candidate will organise and provide an appropriate range of activities and food, will take the lead role in running the club to ensure the provision of high quality out of hours provision for children. The out of hours club provides a positive, safe and happy environment for our children.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide the enthusiasm and energy to engage and motivate all pupils whilst embodying our school values of love, kindness, self-belief and aspiration.
